Lectra

The Apple Pencil document workflow inside the Canvascope ecosystem.

Lectra is the iPad companion. It is where PDFs become a proper writing surface, where document sync becomes visible, and where the wider ecosystem can grow into more advanced study and review workflows.

Lectra by Canvascope lockup

Lectra remains intentionally specific: receive a document, annotate it well, and keep document state synchronized with the same backend identity used across the product suite.

Receive a document from Canvascope

Canvascope uploads a PDF only when the user explicitly sends it to Lectra.

Annotate on iPad with Apple Pencil

Lectra is designed as the focused document workspace, not as another overloaded browser view of course content.

Keep document state visible to the web portal

The website can read synced document records and show source course, review state, and annotation progress inside the signed-in workspace.

Beyond the document

Lectra already points toward a richer study workspace.

Lectra starts with focused annotation, but it also creates the document state that makes the web workspace useful: what was sent, what was reviewed, and which course context it belongs to.

Receive

PDFs arrive with course context attached.

Review

Annotation happens on iPad, not inside a cramped browser tab.

Sync

The workspace can show what changed without faking a second document system.
