Canvascope started turning course deadlines into actual study plans. The syllabus autopilot work taught the extension to read academic structure, split deadlines into useful work blocks, and prepare those blocks for the same to-do, calendar, and reminder systems students already use.
This was the bridge between search and planning. Instead of only finding the syllabus or listing due dates, Canvascope began asking what the student should do next and drafting the work into something editable.
That prototype became the foundation for Smart Planner in v10.
