Lectra Notes is live on the App Store as a free download for iPhone and iPad. The first public build focuses on the core student document loop: import a PDF, organize the library, read and mark up the page, and keep the work tied to the Canvascope flow when the file started in the browser.

The product is intentionally first-party at launch. Lectra centers on documents, Apple Pencil annotation, backup and sync, private on-device intelligence where supported, and the handoff path with Canvascope. The older pre-release third-party experiments were removed from the shipping surface so the App Store version stays understandable and reviewable.

This also changes the public Canvascope workflow. Students can now install Canvascope on Chrome, download Lectra Notes from the App Store, send readings to the Apple device, annotate them, and bring finished PDFs back into supported browser upload flows without treating downloads and file names as the workflow.
